To quote Longfellow, “there’s nothing in the world so sweet as love. And next to love, the sweetest thing is hate.”
So, according to Wadsworth’s reasoning, hate should be next to love on the color spectrum, which would make the color of hate pink.
I think that would seem appropriate to a number of people.

You might be looking at the wrong features. For instance, your face may not resemble them at all but maybe your feet are the same shape. Or maybe you both have ear lobes. Or maybe you both have crooked teeth. Or maybe you both have similar shaped elbows. Maybe you have the same jeans. Or maybe you both have a belly button. Or maybe you both chew with your mouth open.
These are all ways in which you might look like your parents. Don’t be nervous about it.
